Christmas cocktails

Whether you’re hosting a Christmas get together or a New Year’s Eve soiree, we’ve rounded together our favourite festive cocktails to wow your guests!

White Christmas cocktail

100ml vanilla vodka
160ml coconut cream
1 tbsp. crème de cacao
½ tsp. grated nutmeg
2 chocolate wafers, to serve

Put a few ice cubes in a cocktail shaker with the vanilla vodka, coconut cream, crème de cacao and grated nutmeg. Shake and strain into two mini milk bottles (see tip). Pop a rolled chocolate wafer in each.

Mulled Apple Juice

1l apple juice
Strips of orange peel
1 cinnamon stick, plus extra to garnish
3 cloves
Sugar or honey to taste

Simmer the apple juice with the strips of orange peel, cinnamon stick and cloves for about 5-10 mins until all the flavours have infused. Sweeten to taste. Serve each drink with a little orange peel and a piece of cinnamon stick.

Gingerbread Bellini

Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp. ginger cordial
50ml hazelnut liqueur
350ml Prosecco

Chill 4 Champagne flutes in the fridge for 15 mins. When you’re ready to serve, mix together the lemon juice, ginger cordial and hazelnut liqueur in a small jug. Take the Champagne flutes out of the fridge, pour in the mixture, then top up each glass with Prosecco.
