Our company is committed to minimisation of environmental damage by securing its raw materials and packaging from environmentally sustainable and friendly sources.
The company encourages all of its suppliers to have their own environmental policy. This should be backed by evidence to show that efforts are being made to have it positively implemented.
The company purchasing policy in regard to timber insists that timbers are purchased from recognised forestry companies who exceed all necessary planting requirements. In relation to the cape reed required to complete each thatched garden gazebo, it insists that all cape reed is harvested from replenishable and renewable resources. The company is committed to sourcing thatch from a South African supplier which provides jobs, housing and recreational facilities for over 500 employees.
